NonOilen® awards and publications
The properties of NonOilen are appreciated by both foreign and Slovak companies. The concept of oil-free production is is increasingly appealing.
Our awards
Our wish was that NonOilen will be made into products for daily consumption and its potential will not remain only in theory. The development of a bioplastic with practical properties was our priority. This is also why we are happy that our work is appreciated not only by customers, but also by juries at various competitions.

Award in the Leader category for prof. Ing. Pavel Alexy, PhD., for the NonOilen® project
SDGs Award – Award for contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals is awarded in six categories. Prof. Ing. Pavol Alexy, PhD., a key figure in our research, received this award in the Leader category for the development of a plastic from renewable sources, which is also 100% compostable.
Innovative act of 2019

3rd place in the Product innovation category for PANARA, a. s., for the NonOilen® project
The aim of the Innovative Act of the Year competition for the Award of the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, is to draw the general public’s attention to the interesting innovative activities of Slovak entrepreneurs. In 2019, 54 proposals were submitted to the competition, 21 of them were in our category. The jury awarded us third place.

First place in the Innovative solution category for PANARA, a.s., for the NonOilen® project
The waste management award has been awarded since 2006. It is awarded in five categories. An independent jury of experts selects the winner from among the most interesting solutions and ideas in the field of waste management. We became the winners in the nominated category.

At the international exhibition of inventions and technology in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei, professor Pavol Alexy won a gold medal for the development of the innovative NonOilen®.

Technologist of the Year award for prof. Ing. Pavel Alexy, PhD., for the NonOilen® project
Every year, the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information, the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Association of Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies organize the Scientist of the Year event. As part of the event, awards are given to scientists, engineers and innovators in five categories. In 2012, professor Pavol Alexy received the Technologist of the Year award for the development of NonOilen’s formula and technology.
NonOilen® supports the collaboration of scientists and investors, which brings real environmental solutions to life.
